theeconomist: Daily chart: which economies are growing the fastest? Between 2001 and 2010, GDP per head grew fastest in Equatorial Guinea, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Italy’s economy was one of only 15 to see negative growth. 4 out of 10 of these are in Africa. And this isn’t even normalized per-capita income. Here, here. Shame for Haiti. Mega shame for Zimbabwe.
