On Friday I spent a couple of hours going through some arduous and eventually ineffectual sets of instructions for tethering the iPhone to a laptop. Today I discovered that there is an automatic tool called Spirit, which was just released within the week. I hereby share it with other iPhone users who want to jailbreak.

It installs Cydia, which you will need to use to go through the Tethering process. Best of luck. It’s made my life markedly better in short order.
